Val tagged me.

Number 1

Where would you have your 8 homes, if you were as insanely rich as the McCains?

List them. You don’t have to list your reasons, but if you do at least for a few of them, it would be more fun. And remember that the only rule is: the homes must be within the borders of the United States of America or else, within the borders of the country you live in, so as to utterly emulate the McCains. When you’re done, tag 8 people, so that they may join in the self-indulgence, forgetting about the crappy property market and the equivalent of The End of Pompeii on Wall-Street. You could spend your time hammering your doors and windows shut in preparation for the apocalypse instead, but it would be much less fun.

1) My first home I would own if I was insanely rich would be right next to Vincent D'Onofrio in NYC. Come on girls! Who wouldn't? Haha!

2)I would love to live in Connecticut. It is so beautiful there. I wouldn't want to live there in the winter, so I'll make that home my summer home.

3)Another place I would love to live La Jolla, California. It is near San Diego and I just love the homes there.

4)Seattle, Washington. Another beautiful place.

5)Maine, but my home there would be a castle built right near the ocean or a light house.

6)Or maybe Vermont. Hey I just realized these are mostle summer homes. I don't want to live in the snow. Yuk!!

7)Phoenix, Arizona. Yes, I know. HOT!! But I'd rather be hot than cold.

1)When I lived in San Diego, CA, I was homeless for about 5 years. That is the reason I came back to PA.

2)I got my driver's license at the age of 43 and my first car one year later.

3). I just bougth my first house one year ago.

4.) I love chicken liver and I know chicken is my favorite food. I never get tired of eating it.

5) I've only became a vincent fan about 1year and 1/2 ago. I guess better late than never.

6) I am the second youngest of 10 kids (6 girls and 4 boys)

7) I love cats!!!

I guess I will tag my sister, as I really don't know very many people.

Thank you Val for tagging me. I hope you learn a little something about me.

I just wanted to tell everyone I got an "A" in both my subjects. My two subjects were Skills for Learning in a Information Age and Business Communication. The first one I wasn't sure if I would get an A, because he gave me a D on one of my papers. It was about using SQ3R for reading and retension. I have never heard of it, have you? So I did it the best I could. I didn't have time to ask me instructor. I did the best I could and he gave me a D and told me I obviously did not use the SQ3R. I was mad. I told him that I didn'tneed some technique to help me to retain what I read. HAHA! But I got an A anyway. YEA!!. I couldn't have done it without Vincent, because most of the time I was doing my school work, vincent was on TV. I can't wait until November 7th. I am counting the days, and now it's on Friday. WooHoo! No work the next day. What a celebration!! I hope it stays on Friday.

ET-chapter nine

Here's the final chapter of Eternally Yours. I hoped you enjoyed reading it.

Chapter Nine:l

Eames entered the hospital eager to pick up her best friend. She walked through the double doors and past a nurses' station. She found room 279 and tapped on the door, before opening it.

Bobby was sitting on the bed while a nurse attended to his blood pressure. Benji sat on a chair next to the bed and observed the nurse. He looked at Eames as she walked over to him.

"How are you feeling, Goren?" Eames asked him. He was unconscious for nearly two weeks.

Goren mouthed the words, 'it hurts.' His neck was bandaged with white gauze. The fishing line had cut into his skin as he tried to fight his attacker. The doctor's had to cut his skin to get the line out.

"The doctor says he needs to stay quiet for a few weeks to heal his throat." Benji explained.

"Yea, right, as if hee can do that." Alex laughed. "I do not see that happening."

Benji giggled with Eames and Goren glared at both of them. He took his fist and slammed it into the palm of his hand, but it only made them laugh harder, causing him to put up both hands in mock surrender.

After the laughter stopped, Bobby motioned for his notebook and Benji got it for him. He wrote something on a piece of paper and then handed it to Eames.

"What about Randy?" Eames read it out loud. She looked at him. "Randy's dead. I shot him."

Goren looked sad, but he understood. Randy used to be his best friend in the service. If anyone could have made something of himself, it would have been Randy, but he chose to walk on the dark side.

Bobby looked at Benji and wrote again. He handed her the paper. "I'm sorry." It read. "For what?" She asked. Bobby wrote some more. Benji read the paper to herself and then looked at him. "This wasn't your fault." Tears welled up in her eyes, "I don't blame you, Bobby, and you shouldn't either." She took the paper and threw it away. "You didn't rape me, he did! You aren't responsible for another's actions." She turned away from him.

Bobby looked to the floor, before glancing at eames. She looked back at him and smiled slightly. So many thoughts were going through Goren's mind. He wanted to tell Benji that even if it wasn't his fault, he still felt responsible and will always feel that way. He enjoyed her friendship and was afraid that what happened would change things. He could tell she ahd already changed and it frightened him.

Benji turned around to face him and went to hug him. She had tears in ehr eyes as he hugged her back. As if reading his thoughts, she said, "We will always be friends-always."

Smiling, Benji pulled away. "Are you ready to go, Alex?"

"Whenever you are." Alex pulled out her keys.

Benji nodded and smiled at Goren. "Please get better soon."

Goren smiled back and waved goodbye to both girls as they walked out of the room. He laid back in his hospital bed and sighed softly. The nightmare was over, but Goren felt cheated. he wanted Randy to pay, not get the easy way out. Hell, he even wanted him to suffer, just like Ariana and Benji suffered. Goren slammed his fist into his pillow as he rolled over.

He looked out the window and saw the blue sky. A small bird sat on the window sill looking back at him. The bird was tiny and it wouldn't move. It seemed intent on sitting where it was and watching Bobby. Goren watched its little beak opened and he knew it was singing a song just for him. It made him smile as thoughts of Ariana filled his mind.

The bird sat there for nearly ten minutes before opening its wings and flying away. Goren had the feeling it was Ariana checking up on him one last time before leaving him forever. He closed his eyes, happy again, and soon fell asleep, something his old body needed for a such along time.

more of bobby to love

EY-chapter eight

Not done by me.

Chapter eight:

Benji's head throbbed as she opened her eyes. Her one handcuffed hand hurt like hell. She pulled herself up to a sitting position. It took her four attempts, but after much effort, she finally did it.

A noise outside her window caught her attention. Was that the police? Oh, please let that be the police. That gave her the strength to pull herself up to look out the window. She managed to look below and thought she saw Bobby.

"Bobby! Bobby!" She called out, but the window was so dirty she couldn't tell if he heard her. She sighed softly as she flopped back onto the bed.

Down below, outside, Robert Goren was issuing orders. His acute hearing picked up on something. Did someone call my name? He looked towards the windows, but saw nothing. As he gazed back to a map of the warehouse, something caught his attention again. Did something move? Yes, something did move.

Both Goren and Eames had on ballet-proof vests, but Bobby felt they would be useless. As far as he knew Randy wasn't one to use a gun, although he did know how to use one.

Once inside, Bobby directed the others of where to go. Goren walked up some stairs with Eames following him.

Benji jumped when her door burst opened. Her eyes lit with anticipation, praying and hoping it was Bobby. The glow suddenly drained from her face as her nightmare stepped into the room.

Miss me sweetie!" Her kidnapper grinned from ear to ear. "It seems we have guests. This might get interesting." He told her as he reached inside his pockets and pulled out some fishing line. He stood behind the door, holding the line in both hands to create a strangling loop.

Benji gasped when she realized what he was intending to do. It was a trap. She struggled against the single handcuff, wanting so desperately to get loose. Footsteps were approaching the door.

"Bobby! It's a trap!" Benji called out. "Behind the door!"

Benji's kidnapper glared at her. He lunged forward and back-handed her so hard she blacked-out. The footsteps stopped.

Goren heard her. A trap, eh? At least Benji's okay. Bobby stopped Eames from going forward.
"Randy! It's over Randy!" Goren called out.

"I see you gained your memory back!" Taunted Randy, looking for a place to hide.

"Let's get together to talk!" Bobby told him inching closer to the door. "Ben, are you okay?"

"I'm through talking to you, Bobby!" Answered Randy. Looking at Benji, he added, "Your little girlfriend is a little out of it at the moment."

"Randy, you better not hurt her!" Not any more than you already have. There was no sound. "Randy?"

"I don't hear anything." Whsipered Alex.

"Me either."

CRASH!!! The sound of glass filled the air and the sound of a thump worried Goren. He rushed into the room, unable to contain himself. Eames waited for the clear.

A window towards the back of the room was broken as if someone or something had fallen against it. Blood on a small metal fire escape, convinced Bobby that Randy might have fallen to his death. He turned towards Benji as she laid still inconscious on the dirty mattress. He sat next to her as he stroked her cheek.

"Bobby?" Eames called from the door. "Can I come in?"

"Y-ye." He started to say before gasping for air. Something wrapped around his throat. The air quickly dispersed as he tried to desperately pull it away. His eyes bulging, he realized what was tightening around his throat. Fishing line! Bobby tried to elbow his attacker. but he was panicking from the lack of air and the more he fought the tighter the line became.

BANG!! Came the sound of a gun going off just before darkness overcame him.

Enjoy!!

framed

I don't want to give any spoilers away, but this show, in my opinion was one of the best. I felt so sad for Goren. Everything that had meant anything to him was taken away. Deep down, we all knew Bobby had feelings for his brother and it showed. I have a sister that has walked down the wrong path, and I don't associate with her anymore, but if something had happened to her, I would still be upset. Maybe this show was kind of a wake-up call for me. I guess I should just forgive, before it becomes too late.
School has been going good and so has my job. I am now in the HR position and it doesn't really seem that bad. Paperwork, and lots of it, but then again I Love papaerwork. It is one of my strong things.....

promotion

I am really excited. I got a promotion. Let me start from the beginning. My boss came to me a few weeks ago and asked me to go to night shift. (I'm a supervisor for those who didn't know and I work in a manufacturing plant) Anyhoo, I told him that I couldn't do nights because I know how I am. I am basically a day person. He told him it would only be temporarily and that he promised I would come back to days in about six months. So I told him I would think about it. Anyhoo, I had about a month to think about it and I was going to do it just to help the company out. (talk about loyalty).
Again anyhoo, my boss came to me a few days ago and told me to forget about going to nights, he had another position for me. Can you believe it? I am the new (drum roll) HR specialist. Human resource. Ha and I have no idea what I have to do. I told him that, but he says he has that much confidence in me, that he knows I can do it, besides they will send me to classes to learn. Not only is it days, (M-F 7am-4pm) I no longer have to do weekends too. I just couldn't believe it. I am actually excited about it! I just hope I have confidence too to do this job. I start probably in September.
Oh yea, before I go. I am going back to school too. I am doing criminal justice, something I have been interested in for such along time, I thought it was about time I do something, before I get too old (I'm 47). If I find out it isn't for me, then I can always put my time and effort into this HR position. Well there you have it. my life in a nut shell. ha!!
I don't know what is wrong with this blog. sometimes it puts too many spaces between paragraphs and sometimes it won't put it there at all? Am I an idiot?

EY-Chapter Seven

I hope you enjoy this story:

Chapter Seven:

Goren sat in Eames's car waiting for her. She had stopped at the gas station for a fill-up. His cell phone rang, making him nearly jumped out of his skin. He recognized the number; it was Benji's.

"Benji? Where are you?" He answered.

A manly laughter was his response. "Now, telling you where she is would be too easy." More laughter.

Bobby set his phone on record. "Please, don't hurt her." He begged.

"Oh so the great Robert Goren is begging for his ho's life." Teased the killer. "She said I was a much better lover than you were." He said boasting with pride.

"You've touched her!" Bobby's anger escalating.

Eames opened the car door and climbed in. "No, I didn't! (pause) Touch wh-" She put her hand over her when she reailzed Bobby was on the phone.

"She touched me too! And she loved it!" Answered the voice on the other end.

"You're a sick pathetic excuse of a man!" Bobby was so angry, his face was turning red. "Why don't you come face to face with me like areal man?" Goren tried to coerce the man into a duel.

"You would like that, wouldn't you, Bobby?"

"Since you know my name, how about returning the favor?" Bobby asked a little softer.

"You really don't remember me!" The man said his voice hinting a tone of anger. "How convenient?" There was silence and then he said, "I guess Gloris meant nothing to you!" The man took the phone and threw it against the wall.

Bobby heard the phone hitted the wall, then silence. His eyes got big. "I know who he is."

"Tell me!" Eames was anxious to know.

"His name is Randy Buffington. I was in the army with him." Bobby confessed to Alex. "He was going to marry this socialite, Gloria Seneca once we came back state-side. I was drunk, young, and an idiot. I took her out instead of him to celebrate her last night of being a free woman. I ended up seducing her."

He looked at Eames who only stared at Bobby in shock. This was not the Bobby she knew. He obviously had changed alot. "That was a long time ago."

"Yea, but she called off the wedding the next day and told Randy she was in love with me. Needless to say our friendship was ruin."

"What about Gloria?" She asked.

"She went through a period of depression. I wasn't in love with her. I have always regretted sleeping with her. I was drunk; I didn't do it to hurt her or Randy. It just happened. She eventually killed herself." Goren hung his head in shame. "And now, sweet innocent women are paying for something I did a long time ago."

"You are a better man today, Bobby. We will find Benji." Eames started her car and headed out of the station.

Bobby listened tot he phone conversation again. Something in the back ground caught his attention. He replayed it. It was the sound of seagulls and the distance sound of a boat horn blaring. "He's at the pier!"

"Where at the pier?" Alex said not feeling Bobby's enthusiasm.

"There are some abandon warehouses there." Stated Bobby.

"Okay, not I remember." She swung her car around and headed towards the pier. "This time we get back-up." And Bobby agreed.

The man is hot

Have you noticed that Goren hasn't been wearing his suit and tie lately? I wonder why. He also is quite scruffy lately too. Not that I'm complaining, but I do like the clean shaven look. I hope they answer these questions....
I have finished Eternally Yours and I will get to posting the final chapters.
I even started another one called The Underworld. I really hoped you are enjoying them...
Sorry no pic. My stupid PC is acting stupider. (Is that even a word?) haha..

Dying YOUNG

I just got the movie Dying Young. I thought it was really good. I had to wait for a life time until I got to see Vincent D'Onofrio, but it was wwell worth it. I am waiting for two more movies in the mail. Sherlock Holmes and Blood of Heroes. I can't wait to see them. I know Vincent likes to play small roles, but I want to see him in the starring roles more often. Does anyone know what his newest movies are?

Eternally Yours-chapter five

Here is chapter five:
Enjoy!!
Benji woke up to the smell of bacon cooking. She looked at the clock and it said five a.m. "Who wakes up at five to make bacon?" She moaned to herself.

She got up, took a shower, did her morning routine and then proceeded to get dress. She went into the kitchen/dining area and saw Bobby making breakfast. "I was hungry." He said to her as he was flipping an omelet over in a frying pan. "I hope you are too. I make a mean omelet." He then set a plate in front of her.

Her mouth began to water at the meal he presented to her. Without a word, she began to eat. It was the best omelet she had ever eaten. He sat across from her and watched her intensely before eating his share. "Mmm, this is really good." She said in between bites.

"I'm glad you like it." He drank some coffee. "I really appreciate you letting me stay the night."

"No problem." Benji drank some orange juice. "You can stay anytime." And she meant it. "Do you always get up this early?"

"Sometimes. When something is bothering me, I usually do." He finished eating before her and went to wash his plate.

A girl could get use to this, she thought as she watched him moving about her kitchen. He went on to wash the pan and cleaned the counter top. "You don't have to do that." Benji said to him.

"Look, it's no problem. I want to." Bobby finished what he was doing. He was already dressed and ready to go. "Do you think we could get going? I really want to know what happened to Mr. Pickles, other than the obvious."

"Sure, I'm already dressed, so we can go right now."

Bobby grabbed his dirty clothes and headed for the door. Benji grabbed her keys and soon they wereheading to their daily jobs.

Benji told Bobby she would get the reprots and meet him later at his desk and he agreed.

************************************************

Goren walked to his desk. Since he was usually at his desk before Eames, today was no exception. Something caught his eye; it was another yellow envelope. this one was more bulky than the last one, and Goren didn't want to open it, but he knew he had to. He opened the content onto his desk. A VCR tape landed on top of his leather notebook. He sighed softly when he read the inscription. It simply said Ariana.

"What's that?" Eames asked, just getting to her desk.

Goren looked at her sadly. "I think it's a tape of Ariana."

Eames shook her head. "What did the note say?" She pointed to a note that waslying under the tape.

Goren was losing his game. He didn't see the note. He picked it up and it said now the real game will begin. "Why is he doing this to me?" Bobby picked up the tape almost afraid to watch it.

"You know we have to watch it." Alex too did not really want to see what was on the tape.

"I know." Bobby headed to the video room. "I think we better get this over with."

**************************************************

Benji stopped at Goren's desk, but she didn't see him around. She sighed softly wondering where he could be. He knew she was supposed to meet him here. She was about to leave, when she thought she recognized his shadow that was bouncing off of the shade of another room. She tapped lightly on the door and Eames opened it.

Alex motioned for her to enter. Bobby was watching the tape that he had received. All Benji could hear was crying and screaming, and when she looked at the television screen, she saw Araina begging for her life. She turned her head and looked at Goren. The sadness was back in his face. He looked at Benji and smiled slightly while pausing the TV.

"What have you got for me?" He asked her.

She ahd the report in her hands. "Mr. Pickles didn't die like we thought. It wasn't the knife. The knife was post-mortem." She handed him the file.

"Really? What did kill him?" Bobby asked not looking at the file.

"Mr. Pickles died?" Alex asked shocked.

Benji nodded then continued, "He was strangled with fishing line."

Goren sighed and shut the TV off. "I guess Joey's assumption of giving this guy anickname is more than correct."

Alex and Benji agreed. For the first time, Bobby was lsot for words. He seemed lost and discouraged. He ahd lost hismother, girlfriend, and cat in just a year. He didn't want to cry anymore. He had finally come back from purgatory and all hell seems to have broke out. He held his head in his hands not wanting to face the coming weeks.

Benji gently touched his shoulder and he glanced at her. "We will catch him." She tried to reassure him and he smiled at her.

"I know, but who else will he destroy before we do." He showed her the note.

"Now the real game will begin." Benji read the note out loud. "He calls this a game. I don't like his games." She handed it back to him. "You are strong. You will catch him, I know you will."

"I have to agree with Benji," said Eames. "Don't let him knock you down."

"It could be part of his game," added Benji. "And we don't want him to win."

Goren looked at both girls. They were right and it gave him the will-power to get up and fight back.
Because the next chapter is darker and more fiercer, I will post that one on amorous intent. I will let you know when it is available.

The promise

Here is a new short story for all you Goren/Eames shippers out there. Enjoy!!!

The Promise

by aprilspring

They lowered the coffin into the ground and it was all she could do not to cry. Her partner was gone and she wasn't sure how to go on without him. They gave him a twenty-one gun salute for all his years in the precinct.

He deserved to live, damn it, Alex Eames thought still holding back tears. It should have been me, her thoughts continued as she finally allowed the tears to fall down her cheeks.

Dressed in her informal officer attire, she could barely look at all who had attended. Captain Ross was there, along with Mike Logan and his partner, Wheeler. Even their old captain came to pay his respects.

Eames' thoughts went back to two days ago, when she and her partner, Robert Goren had busted in on a slavery ring. She had wanted him to wait for back-up, but she also knew that he was not one for technicalities.

It was her who had opened that door without thinking and it was Bobby who had pushed her out of the way of a bullet that was heading straight towards her. Bobby had heard the gun cocked and knew what would come after that.

He took the bullet that was meant for her.

They rushed him to the hospital with a bullet in his chest. Blood was flowing freely from the wound and although they tried to stop it, it just wasn't enough. He died in her arms, on route.

And now two days later, they were burying her best friend and partner. She should have told him how she really felt, how much she loved him, and then maybe he would have had something to fight for.

Someone gently touched her shoulder and she looked up. Mike stood there with his condolences. It pissed her off. Here he was standing with his partner, while hers was cold and in a dark box, but all she could do was stare straight ahead.

She wanted this to be over, so she could go back to work and forget everything, but Captain Ross had insisted she go to therapy.

Damn it! Why couldn't they just leave her alone? Damn you Bobby. Why did you have to leave me? Alex just couldn't take it anymore, so she screamed. She screamed at the top of her lungs and no one even bothered to look her way. NO ONE!!!

Suddenly someone was shaking her and she wanted him to stop, so she punched him.

"Ouch!" he yelled.

She opened her eyes and looked into those infamous brown eyes. Bobby was looking at her while holding his nose.

"You were having a bad dream." He said rubbing his hurt nose.

Alex began to cry and Bobby gave her a baffled look. She was so releived that it was only a dream. She took his lovely face in her hands and kissed him.

As she held him close she had never felt so thanksful. Bobby Goren willnever know hos close she was to losing him forever.

Alex held the man in her arms, refusing to let him go. She laid onhis bed and kissed him tenderly.

Bobby couldn't understand what it was that Eames had dreamt, but he was grateful, as he kissed her back.

"I love you! eames murmured into Bobby's neck and he smiled.

He had always know, and it made his heart sing. "I love you too!" He whispered against her ear, as he trailed kisses down her neck.

Soon alex's dream was temporalily forgotten as the two of them surrendered to their fervor's sultry moment.

"Promise me, that you will never take a bullet that is meant for me?" Eames asked holding Bobby in her arms, minutes after their passion had subsided.

Bobby rolled onto his side, so he could see her in the pale moonlight and what he saw made him sad: tears welling up in her eyes. "I never want to make you cry." He said holding her close to her chest.

"Then promise!" She said again, taking in his masculine scent and listening to his heartbeat.

"I promise!" Bobby said and he wondered what it was that had her so terrified of losing him.

She was never going to tell him that in her dream, he had died adn she had to go through the rest of her life without him. This was something she did not want to think about, EVER. She snuggled against him, listening to his steady heartbeat and thanking God that it was only a dream.

The End!!
