Happy Birthday vincent

this pic is me and my best friend (I'm on the right) My friend came to NYC for a vacation (she's from scotland) and I met her on the internet. We had been friends for nearly 5 years and have never met until that day. It was both of a dream come true for us. I am so glad I meant her....

Happy Birthday Vincent D'Onofrio.

I wish you all the happiness and all the success. You deserve to have many happy days. We (your fans) love you and only want the best for you.

This is what I would have written in his birthday card. I can not think of a better way to celebrate his wonderful day. Just what do you get someone who probably has anything his heart desires? Oh wait, he doesn't have me, but I am probably not what his heart desires. (*darn) A girl can only dream right? haha!

Bobby's mom

I'm sure you all have seen this photo, but he is so sexy in it.

I haven't figured out how to download it onto my blog, not yet anyway.

Enjoy!!

EY-chapter Four

Here is the rest of chapter four:
Enjoy!!!

As she was driving, Bobby asked her if they could stop at his place for some clothes and to check on his cat. She agreed and drove him there.

Bobby put his key into the lock and opened the door. "Mr. Pickles!" he called out.

"You named your cat, Mr. Pickles." Benji tried to stifle a laugh, but it came out as a snicker.

"Don't laugh." Bobby said getting some food to feed his cat. "He likes pickles, that's why I named him that."

"Okay, okay." she said putting her hands up in a mocked surrender.

Bobby walked into the bedroom, wondering why his cat didn't come to him. His cat went out during the day, but he was usually in by now. Bobby closed his bedroom door to get his ties. Now he knew why his cat didn't come running.

"What else is going to go wrong?" Goren said mumbling to himself.

"did you say something, Bobby?" asked Benji.

"Yea, I found my cat." The cat was dead. Someone had snuck into bobby's apartment and killed his cat with a knife and attached him to the bedroom door. Also attached was a note that simply said, how does it feel?

Benji walked into his room and saw the cat. "Eew! Get your clothes! Don't touch anything else."

Bobby grabbed some clothes and did as she said. "What about Mr. Pickles?"

"I'll call Joey and have him pick it up, so he can examine it." Benji made her phone call and told Bobby to leave his door unlock. "He'll lock up when he's done."

He nodded and headed out the door with Benji in tow. She began driving to her place this time.

Conversation was limited. Bobby did tell her that his car got totaled and that Alex was
pickinghim up as well as taking him home. Benji proved to be a good listener and Goren liked that. Benji parked her car and led Bobby into her apartment. she threw her purse onto the end tablein her living room and went into the kitchen.

"Why don't you sit down and I'll fix us something to eat." Benji said rummaging in her refrigerator.

"I'm not really hungry." Bobby said sitting on the sofa.

"I didn't ask you if you were hungry," she answered banging pots and pans together and started to prepare some dinner. "I hope you like spaghetti."

Bobby was about to reject, but decided against it. Soon dinner was ready and she set the table. Bobby sat at the table as she served him. She gave him a little wine and he drank it. Despite the fact that he thought he wasn't hungry, he ate the food, and was glad that he did.

Benji smiled at him. "Did you like it?" She asked him clearing the table.

"Yes," he answered, helping her. the dishes got done and she made the couch for him to sleep.

Bobby laid down on the couch that seemed too big for him, but he didn't complain. He tried to go to sleep, but couldn't.

Benji got ready for bed. As soon as her head hit the pillow she fell asleep. Suddenly she woke up. Something didn't seem right. She looked at a chair that was in her room and almost screamed. Someone was sleeping in it. It took her a moment to realize that it was Bobby. He was curled awkward on the chair. She shook her head as she got out of bed and put a blanket on him. The chair was a recliner, and so she pulled it back so he could sleep better. He never woke up and she smiled as she returned to her bed. He just didn't want to be left alone, she understood that now.

EY-Chapter four

Here is chapter four:
Remember you can go here and read it too:
I hope you are enjoying. It seems only a handful are commenting. It helps me if I know if you like it or not.
I like writing, but I need to know what you people like to read and maybe I can start to write what you like to read.

Chapter Four:

The duo walked through the front door of forensics. They looked around for Benji, but couldn't find her. Alex saw her partner, Joey and asked him where she could be.

"She went into the back to get those reports of that girl who was killed by the fish line killer." Joey told Eames.

"fish line killer? Did he do this before?" She questioned him some more.

"Did who do what before?" Benji came back into the room and only heard half of what Alex had said.

"Joey called ariana's killer, the fish line killer."

"Joey!" Benji scolded him. "You have got to keep your little pet names to yourself." Then to Alex she said, "he makes names up, so he can identify certain suspects."

"I-I only made it up." confessed Joey, hanging his head in shame.

"That's okay." Alex gently touched his arm and then she looked at benji, "Are those the reports?"

"Yes, let's go into my office." Benji took them back to a small room.

Bobby followed the two of them, but didn't say a word until Benji had closed the door. His eyes were still swollen from crying and he was afraid to say anything for fear he would start to cry again.

Benji looked at him carefully. She saw his hands, "Are you okay?" She said to him.

"No! What do you think?" He said rather rude to her.

Benji looked away. She tried to understand what Bobby was going through. "Forgive me."

"Bobby! We know you're hurting, but you do not need to take it out on the people who are trying to help!" Eames scolded him. "Benji, what have you got for us?"

Bobby looked at Benji and with his eyes, he apologized. She smiled weakly at him, and then she addressed Alex. "There were two semen samples. One was Bobby's and the other was shooting blanks."

Alex raised an eyebrow at her, "Are you saying the man is infertile?"

"It sure looks that way." She answered.

"that isn't good." Bobby said. "Now we don't have any DNA to go by."

"Don't ever give up hope." Benji told him, gently touching his shoulder. "It may look gloomy now, but later we may find our silver lining."

Goren cocked his head to one side and looked at her. What she said seemed to make sense.

Alex smiled at the two. "Bobby are youready to go home?"

He turned his head quickly, "Go home?"

"Yes, you know that place you go to after work." teased Alex.

"can't I spend the night at your place?"

"No, you can't Bobby. I have date and how would it look if I brought him home and this big man is at my house, not good, I tell you." Rambled Eames.

Bobby hung his head down, feeling more depressed. "I don't want to be alone."

Suddenly Alex got an idea. "why don't you spend the night at Benji's?"

"What?!" Exclaimed Benjora.

"You have a big enough place, besides you always wanted Bobby to spend the--" Alex couldn't finish the sentence, because Benji's hand went over her mouth.

"Don't say that in front of him." She smiled at Bobby, who pretended he didn't hear any of the conversation. "Okay, he can spend the night."

"Good, it's settled then." Alex turned to leave them. "Bobby, I'll see you tomorrow." And she left them both standing there.

They both looked at the door, then at each other. "Are you okay with this?" Benji asked him.
"I am, if you are."

"Let me get my purse and we can go." Soon the two of them were in the parking lot, in her car and headed down the street.
.....to be continued
I am also trying to make a video. Vincent D'Onofrio has been aspiring me, so I hope I can make a good one.....

eternally yours-chapter three

Here is chapter three. I must tell you to be careful. I did warn you this story would not be nice. Please comment and let me know if you like it or not. Poor bobby...

Chapter Three:

Eames drove Goren to the warehouses. He went to get out of the car, when he felt a hand on his arm. "Don't you think we should get back-up?"

"It might be too late, if we wait," said the impatient detective.

Eames sighed softly before following him. She knew better than to try and stop him. When Bobby set out to do something, he does it, besides his girlfriend's life may depend on it.
The warehouse inside was empty, except for a few crates along the far wall. Bobby took a deep breath. Something shiny was lying on the floor. A sunshine ray was bouncing off of it and it shined in his face. He walked over to it and pickd it up. It was Ariana's cell phone and goren's heart sank.

Eames ran after him to catch up and looked at his face, She could see his disappointment and she wished there was something she could do, but she was just as helpless. "I'm sorry, bobby. We will find her." Something was dripping down Bobby's face and she reached out to touch it. "Are you bleeding?" She asked rubbing the substyance between her fingers.

Bobby reached up and touched his fac too. He then felt something drip on him. He looked up and almost fell to his knees. ariana was hanging from the rafters. She was naked and attached to her body were hooks with chains. Blood was dripping from her. "NOOOOOoooooooooooo!" Bobby screamed.

Alex had seen her share of blood and gore, but even this made her want to run and puke. She grabbed Bobby to stop his from contaminating the crime scene. He fell in a heap on the ground crying uncontrollable. Even Alex had a hard time keeping the tears from falling as she ccalled it in.

****************************************************

Goren and Eames stood at the ME's office, waiting for her to give them the report. goren seemed to be in another world. He wouldn't speak and it was as if he was in shocked. Alex could see the pain he was in and she knew keeping him off of this case was the last thing they should do. A few moments ago, the captain had ordered Goren off the case, but Eames had gone back and talked him into it. Goren was now her responsibility, a feat she knew she could handled. Goren's pain would now be hers.

The ME motioned for them to enter. She knew the victim was Goren's girlfrien and she tried to use sympathy when dealing with the detectives. The body was still in the drawer.

"First I want to say, I'm sorry for your loss." The ME said to goren.

He only stared at her. It was Eames who nodded a thanks, then asked, "What was the cause?"

"She had numerous causes, but the one that really did her in was the fishing line that was wrapped around her neck. It nearly beheaded her. the girl was tortured, had various cuts that were deep, but well planned. He knew where to cut. He didn't want her dead, until he wanted her to." Eames' eyes got wide as the ME spoke. "He had a thing with hooks. He put hooks into her back in order to hang her up in the rafters. The fishing line he attached to another rafter and as her body relaxed the line got tightened until she died."

Bobby finally spoke. "Where si she?"

"Still in ice," she answered. "You have to know, she may have been assaulted. I found two semen samples inside her." She took them into the room and found the door that had Ariana inside.

"One would be mine." Bobby said barely audible. "I want to see her."

"Are you sure?" He nodded and the ME opened the drawer and pulled her out.

Bobby looked at her. She looked so peaceful. He gently topuched her hair and stroked her cold cheek. HE closed his eyes, in an effort to stop the tears. "I should have been there. I should have stayed all night. If I had, she would still be alive."

"You don't know that Goren," said Eames. "This is not your fault."

Bobby gave Eames a look that told her he did blame himself. "Sweetie, I promise I will get him, who did this to you." He said to Ariana, before leaving the room. He walked to Eame's car and cried.

"The samples, did you give them to-?" Alex started to say to the ME.

"Yes I gave them to Benjora, just as you requested."

Alex waved thanks anmd walked back to her car. Goren quickly wiped the tears away as soon as he saw her coming towards him. She pretended she did not see.

AS they drove back to Major Case, bobby began to scream. Alex nearly jumped out of her skin. She stopped the car and he got out, falling to the ground. He was grieving, as he slammed his fists onto the concrete. Alex grabbed him and held him close. At first, he tried to push her away, but she held on to him, until he was so tired of fighting her, that he had no choice, but to cry in her arms. She rocked this big man in her arms, until he finally stopped and his eyes could cry no more.

Exhausted, Bobby walked with Eames back to her car. She got the first-aid kit she kept under her sea and bandaged his hands. His hands were bleeding from hitting the cement.

"bobby, do you want me to take you home?" She asked him,.

"No. I don't want to be alone. Not just yet." He said climbing into the passenger side of the car.

Alex got behind the wheel and started the engine. "I need to go to forensics. do you feel up to that?"

He looked at her and nodded. She took the car out of park and headed back top work.

Eternally Yours-chapter two

Here is chapter two:
Hope you like it. You can also go here to read it too...
chapter two also here

Alex tapped on the door. Captain Ross motioned for her to enter. He was on the phone. "Can I call you later?" He asked the person on the other end. He then set the phone back in its cradle. "What can I do you for?" he asked.

"Sir, I did not mean to interrupt you," she started to say.

"But, you felt it was important enough to come here," the captain finished her statement. "So, what has you so worried?"

"This." Alex showed him the note Goren got in the envelope. "It was sent to Goren."

Ross looked it over, then asked. "What does your partner say about this?"

"Nothing, sir. He seems to think it's a prank."

"But you're still worried." Ross handed the note back to her. She nodded her head. "It looks like it may be nothing, like Goren says, but let's not forget about it. Keep our ears and eyes opened."

"Yes, sir." Eames left the office feeling a little bit better. She managed to get the note back into Goren'sx notebook before he came back.

Goren stepped off of the elevator and waked over to his desk. He placed a coffee onto Eames' desk. "There, just like you like it. Lots of coffee, very little sugar and cream."

"Thanks," she mumbled, taking a sip of thedark liquid. It's scent filled her nostrils and she secretly was relieved tha Bobby had gone somewhere else to get the java. "Just what I needed."

Goren smiled as he sipped his cappuccino. "So, what did the captain say?" He asked between sips.

Alex nearly choked on her next mouthful. She should have known she couldn't get anything past Bobby. She licked her lips before answering. "He says we should keep our ears and eyes opened."

"Sounds good to me."

"How did you know?" she asked almost afraid of the answer.

"You bent the corner putting it back." Goren gave her that boyish grin of his.

Goren's cell phone rang and Eames was relieved. She found herself thinking about the first time she had met Bobby. She remembered how unconventonal he was, but today she is glad to know this amazing detective.

Her thoughts were snapped back to reality, when she heard Bobby's panic voice. "Calm down, sweetheart. Where are you? (pause) What do you see? (pause) Baby! Baby! (more pause,as someone takes the phone from her) Who is this? (hears crying and screaming) No, no!" His heart was was racing and he feared for her. His phone went silent. He looked at Alex who could see the fear in his eyes.

"What happened?" she asked.

"I don't know. someone has her. He hung up the phone! She was crying and I think he hurt her!" Bobby's fist slammed against his desk and others looked to see what the noise was.

Alex took the phone. "We need to get a trace on this phone!" and she headed down to forensics.

Bobby followed, but he felt so helpless. Why was he a cop if he couldn't help the people who meant more to him. It was tearing him up inside, but he needed to stay calm if he was ever going to find his girlfriend. Ariana, I will find you, he thought to himself.

Alex opened the door to forensics and stepped inside, with Bobby in hot pursuit. Alex knew who she wanted and she found her tucked away looking into a microscope. She cleared her throat to get the young lady's attention.

The girl looked up, "Hey Alex. What's up?" she asked.

"Benj, I-we need your help." Her voice showing the same panic Goren's had just a few moments ago.

"Sounds urgent! What can I do for you?" Benji asked moving away from her microscope.

"Some guy has kidnapped Bobby's girlfriend and we need you to trace a phone call." Alex handed her Bobby's cell phone.

"Bobby has a girlfriend?" Her voice sounding disappointed, but she took the phone and went to her computer.

"You can help, can't you?" Bobby said, unable to contain his patience, causing the girl to jump.

"I didn't know you were there, but I will try." Benji looked at Bobby with sadness in her eyes. It was apparent she had a crush on the detctive, but had never told anyone, except Alex. She took a deep breath and typed some codes into her computer.

After a series of beeps and more typing, a map came up, showing a red dot moving across the boundaries. "They are on the move. Going up hudson and 42nd Street." The girl tried her best not to look into Bobby's eyes.

"Benji, you're a saint!" Bobby grabbed her for a quick hug.

"What's it doing now?" asked Alex looking at the dot that had stopped at a dead end.

Benji looked at the screen. "It seems to have stopped moving. My guess is they had stopped at oneof those building. Isn't that where alot of warehouses are?" She had only lived in New York city for about five years, but with her work schedule, she wasn't one to have much of a social life, so she didn't know NYC very well.

Bobby pulled out a notepad and began writing notes down. Benji found herself staring at the man. She ahd imagined herself in his arms many times, but her shyness had kept her from saying anything to him. He now had a girlfriend which broke her heart in two.

"Yes, it is," answered Eames. She was Benji's best friend, so Ben had confided many times he feelings she ahd for Bobby. She knew if anyone can help them, it would be Benjora. She was one of the best forensic specialists the department had, even if it did break her heart to know the man she as secretly in love with was in love with another girl.

Bobby took his cell phone and put it back into his pocket. "Ready, Eames?" Then to benjora he said, "Thanks for your help."

"I hope you find her." She smiled weakly, before turning back to her miscroscope.

Eames turned to say something to Benji, but she ahd already turned her back on them, so Alex thought it was best to forget about it. She followed Goren out to her car.

Eternally Yours

Eternally Yours

Disclaimer: I do not own nor did I create the charcters from the Law & Order: Criminal Intent series. I did create the extra characters that were needed for the story. This is purely for entertainment only. This is my story..............

Chapter one
The morning sun peeked through the blinds causing Robert Goren to moan. His naked chest glistened with sweat. The summer heat had come early, and Goren groaned as he tried to avoid the ruthless rays of sunshine. Covering his lower anatomy was a thin top sheet, which only served to heat his body move. His air conditioner had broken last summer and he could not seem to find the time to search for a new one, so he laid on his bed, soaked in sweat and debated whether he should rise and face the humidity or hide in his closet. The latter made him smile.
He rolled reluctantly out of bed and headed to the bathroom. Apparently nature called, and now relieved, he turned the shower on. Shunning his boxers, he stepped into the cool water as it cascaded against his skin. Soaping his naked body with a manly type bath wash, he allowed a few moments of enjoyment, before rinsing the lather. Grabbing a towel, he dried all the creases and took extra care between his legs.

He remembered the night before, the passion he felt finally being in woman's arm. But the love making had left him spent and tender. He shook his head, no way am I complaining, he thought, as he walked naked back to his bedroom to put on the stifling day's wardrobe.

He started to adjust his tie, when his cell rang its familiar tune. Without looking to see who it was, he answered singing, "good morning."

"I take it your date went rather well," a female voice on the other end said.

"You downstairs?" he asked, avoiding the statement.

"Yes, waiting as usual." Her voice hinted a smile.

He tucked the phone back into his pocket and combed his scruffy hair. He rubbed his chin, thinking he needed a shave, but he was running late again and decided that could wait. Grabbing his gun and badge, he strolled down the steps and headed to where his partner, Alex Eames was waiting.

He smiled at her, a smile that only confirmed that his date last night was a success. She smiled to herself, happy that Goren had finally got some. Now, maybe he won't be such a prick, she thought. She pulled out of the parking space and headed to Major Case.
Goren's car had been totaled in an accident and Eames was picking him up for work. A few weeks earlier, a truck had run a red light and smashed into his passenger side. Goren was lucky, but his car had paid the ultimate price. Death by vehicle - in other words - vehicular car murder.

Goren was grateful for Eames, because without her, he would have to go back to using the subway. His body was still sore and lastnight's rendezvous only added to the stiffness.

"I'm getting old," he muttered as he flopped intohis chair at his desk.

Eames only smiled as she too sat down.

"Have I told you how grateful I am?" he asked, playing with a yellow envelope that was sitting on his leather notebook.

"Not today yet, but only a hundred times yesterday. You are slowing down, Bobby." She smiled at him.
He graoned at her, still playing with the envelope. He flipped it over and wondered what the contents were inside. It felt thin and didn't seem to have much in it. It was simply addressed, Goren, with no postage. It had to be hand delivered.

"What's that?" Alex asked him.

"Don't know. It was just sitting here." Bobby took the corner, ripped it opened and dropped the contents onto his desk. A folded white paper was all that came floating out. Bobby unfolded it and read it. He gave Alex a baffled look as he handed the note to her.

The paper was an ordinary copy paper, but the note was not hand written, it was made from scraps of paper letters. Some were from magazines and some letters were from newpapers. Alex looked at Bobby after she read it, "What does it mean?"

"I don't know," answered Goren. The note simply said I will take from you what you took from me. There was no signature and no return address. "I think someone is trying to mess with my mind." Bobby threw the note into his notebook and tried to dismiss it.

"What did you take from someone?" she asked him.

"Nothing," Bobby looked at her. The note meant nothing to him and no one was going to ruin his day. "Look, don't worry about it. I'm sure it is a prank." Bobby got up and walked to the elevator. "I'm getting some coffee, want some some?" He asked as he stepped onto the elevator.

Alex thought it was strange the way bobby was acting. He didn't even wait for her to answer and besides there was perfectly good coffee at the precinct, so why did he elave to go and get other coffee. She saw the note was still on his desk in his leather notebook, so she took it and walked to Captain Ross' office.

chapter eight

Here is the final chapter in Proven Innocent. I hoped you had enjoyed it.
Proven Innocent
Chapter eight
Goren and Eames were sititng at their desks, when Goren excused himself. Eames wondered where he was going. He was acting strange the last couple of weeks, almost in a panicky type mode. They had solved the case of Officer Wittman and the man who killed the young cop got the max, life in prison without the possiblity of parole. Alex was pleased, this time he didn't get away with very little time served. Bobby was amazing and she begab to think there was no way, she could ever imagine working without him. Definately an acquire taste, she thought to herself, finishing the last of her paperwork.
Alex closed her laptop and cleaned the clutter off of desk. Someone's shadow stood over her. Her heart racing, she turned to look at what was causing the slight disturbance. Bobby smiled at her as she looked into his brown eyes.
He had changed his clothes and stood looking at her waiting for her approval. "What do you think?" he asked her. He was dressed in a dark blue suit, which was definately tailored to his body. He wore a white shirt that had thin blue stripes going down the length of it. Around his neck, was a dark blue tie.
"So where you going?" she asked tilting her head to one side.
"I have a date." He beamed giving her a look that told her he was happy, but terrified. He hadn't had a date in such a long time and he wasn't even sure he knew how to date anymore.
Alex looked at him, trying to decide if she should tell him the truth or lie to spare his feelings. She decided the former would be better. "Bobby, you look like you are going to a funeral."
His eyes widen and he hung his head. He looked like a little boy being scolded and she immediately regretted telling him the truth. "What am I going to do?" he whispered.
She looked at him thoughtfully. "You want to impress her, don't you?" He nodded his head. "Do you trust me?" Again he nods. She took his hand and led him to an empty room. "Take it off!" she demanded.
"Excuse me?" He raised an eyebrow at her request.
"The jacket, take it off!"
"Oh, I thought you meant my pants," he smiled giving her a boyish grin.
"Don't flatter yourself," she smiled back. He took the jacket and laid it on the table that was in the room. Alex took his tie and loosened it up so she could take it off. She also unbuttoned two of the buttons on his shirt, leaving some chest hair exposed. She smiled proudly, "There, that's better."
"I feel naked." Bobby said, takinghis hands and trying to button at least one button, but Alex slapped his hand.
"Would you like a second date with this girl?"
He rubbed his wounded hand and said, "Maybe."
"You won't get one, if you dress like you're Adrain Monk."
"Who?"
"Never mind," she looked at Bobby and smiled. She was surprised at how good-looking he was. "I think that girl will be impressed. Dare I ask who she is?"
Bobby grinned at her,"I think you know."
Alex smiled to herself, because she knew it was Ariana. "Have fun," she said, "she is one lucky girl."
Bobby cocked his head to one side to give Eames one last look before leaving the room. Alex sighed siftly, never regretting the notion that Bobby was dating again.
*************************************
Carrying a single rose, Bobby knocked on Ariana's door. She opened the door and smiled at him. She was breth-taking. She had on a flowery summer dress that accented her legs, a feature that caught Bobby's eye. Her hair was pulled back into a bun with a single loose strand of hair on both sides. He nervously gave her the rose and she shyly took it from him.
"Thank you." she whispered, taking t he flower and went to put it in water. "Come in."
He stepped inside and closed the door. He walked over to her and stood close to her. Ariana did not know this and when she turned around she bumped into him, nearly dropping the glass. He took the glass and set it on the counter before whispering in her ear, "You're beautiful."
She blushed and said, "thanks." They looked into each other's eyes for what seemed like an eternity, before moving their bodies away from each other.
"are you ready?" Bobby asked, wanting to break the ice.
She took a big breath, then nodded. Bobby held the door opened for her and as they stepped into the outside world, Bobby waspleased. He ahd a date and for the first time, since his mother's death, he was happy. This time his mother could not disapprove of her and although her not being here, sadden him, tonight he was happy. And she was pretty, he thought as his heart beat inside his chest, eager to get his date moving and to see where his future was going to take him. Was she the one? He didn't know, but it didn't matter, he washappy. Something he wasn't, in such a long time.......
There you go, all finished. I hope you all enjoyed. I have started a second one and it is called Eternally Yours. this one won't be so nice. so stay tuned.....

chapter seven-proven innocent

Proven Innocent
Chapter seven continued:
Interrogation room
Goren walked into the interrogation room and stood there watching Jake Talbort. jake was leaning in his chair with his feet propped up and a hat covered his eyes. Goren walked behind him and roughly kicked one leg of the chair. Jake grabbed the table in an effort to stop himself from falling. Goren sat across from him and smiled. Eames watched from th e side-lines.
"What the hell is your malfunction?" Jake said angerily. Jake's lawyer sat next to him.
"My malfunction is you," stated Bobby. He laid pictures on the table in fron of the suspect. "Anything catch your eye?" The pictures were of Officer Wittman, Sylvia Pearson and a copy of the note.
"Why would these pics mean anything to me?" Jake asked irritated. Bobby only smiled and it was beginning to tick Jake off. "I think you should wipe that smile off your face, or I'll," Jake's lawyer touched his arm in an attempt to stop him.
"Or you'll what?" asked Bobby.
Jake jerked his lawyer's hand off of his arm, "Or I'll wipe it off for you!" Jake leaned closer to Bobby's face, but it didn't stop the detective from smiling.
Bobby leaned back slightly, before answering the suspect. "You're in my world now and your lawyer needs tos et you straight. But since, he seems to fear you, I will give you the rules. In here, you answer my questions and should you decide the thing to do is to wipe this smile off of my face, I guarantee your world will come crashing down rather quickly." The smile never left Bobby's face.
The lawyer leaned over to Jake and whispered in his ear. Jake looked at Goren and nodded. "Okay, we'll play with your rules."
Bobby knew that this was not going to be an easy interrogation. "Question one, where were you on February 29th between the hours of 12am to 5am?"
"I waas with my girlfriend, Brandi. She was at work, Jack's Party Grill." He answered watching Goren intensely.
"And you never left the bar?"
"No, of course not. Just ask Brandi. I know you have her here some where." Jake leaned back, with a smug look on his face. He was convinced Brandi would not say anything against him.
"I already did." Goren's smile got even bigger and Jake did not like it one bit. "Let's see," he flipped through his leather notebook, "her words, exactly, were - Jake followed the cop as he was taking this girl I drugged home."
The lawyer whispered something in jake's ear again, "I think you're lying!" He said to Goren, slightly standing to intimidate Bobby.
Bobby just sat there, knowing that if things got out of hand, back-up would be in there in no time. He folded his hands and waited for jake to sit down. "My world, Jake." He reminded Talbort, "and you see, you can't intimidate me like you can your girlfriend."
Jake sat down and leaned back against his chair, "What is that supoose to mean?"
"You seem to have a problem playing by my rules." Bobby stood up and leaned against the wall.
Eames sat there watching Bobby in awe. She was surprise with Bobby's tactic, but she was impressed. Bobby never waned in his approach while dealing with this suspect.
"Since you won't tell me what happened, let me tell you my version of what happened." Bobby slammed his notebook on the table and began speaking. "I believed Brandi, when she says you followed Officer Witman, but she was unsure of what happened once you got there. I know you stabbed the cop, you told her that." Jake narrowed his eyes, as Bobby taked, "but Ariana had bruises on her body, bruises you created, just like the ones you put on Brandi," Bobby stood between Jake and his lawyer with his cocked to one side, as he looked at Jake.
Eames thought it looked so familiar and she smiled to her self, as she watched Bobby in action. Bobby was amazing, the way he could interrogate a suspect and tonight, he was on a roll.
"You can't prove anything," Jake started to say.
"I think you should not say anything more." He lawyer tried to stop him again.
"shut up!" Jake yelled at him. "You think this small time detective can control me! He doesn't have nay evidence to back that claim!" Jake started to get off of his chair.
The lawyer glared at his client. "You're on your own!" The lawyer sat back and decided to allow Jake to hang himself.
Goren grabbed Jake's shoulder and sat him back down in his chair, making the suspect even madder. They struggled for a few moments before two uniform officers stepped into the room and forced Jake to have a seat.
"You seem to forget, I have a witness." Goren said to Jake, his smile never ceasing.
"Waht witness?" yelled Jake. "There is no way that girl remembers what happened!" Jake thought he was talking about Ariana.
"She deosn't remember? You beat the crap out of her!" Goren knew who he was talking about, "I surely would remember someone beating on me!"
"She was on Rohypnol." Jake said sounding very sure of himself.
Goren slowly strolled to the other side of the table to sit across from Jake again. His grin was wider than ever. He patiently watched Jake, before proceedin with the interrogation. "You seem to know a lot about this case for someone who wasn't involved."
"You said she was drugged." Jake realized that he might have stuck his own foot into his mouth.
"yea, but I didn't say which drug she was on, and that is all the evidence I need to lock you up." Goren gathered all his photos together. "The witness I was talking about was your girlfriend. She gave you up. She was so sick and tire of your abuse, that she told us everything!" He gave Jake long hard look. "And she will testify against you!"
"I want a deal!" Jake knew he was in deep waters.
"You want a deal?" Well, let's see." Goren looked at Eames. "What do you think, Eames? Do you think he deserves a deal?"
Alex was still fuming over the thought the Jake only got two years on that rape/burglary. "I'll tell you what kind of deal he should get." She then turned to Jake. "You should be thrown in jail for the rest of your life with no possibility of parole and then put in a cell with a rather large man who will make you his female *itch. And I hope he does to you what you did to that woman you raped, except you will get it for the duration of your prison life!"
Goren smiled and said, "Now that's what I call a deal!"
Jake was so angry that he leaped off of the chair and tried to grab Goren's throat. "I'll kill you!" The two officer tackled Jake to the floor, pulling his arms behind his back and hand cuffing him. "I'll kill you, just as I killed that officer!" Jake yelled as he was dragged out of the interrogation room. "I swear I will rip your throat with my bare hands!" the last words fading as Jake was taken away.
Bobby closed his leather notebook and got up to leave. "It's over. Case closed!"
"He deserves to be put away," assured Alex. "He was an angry man whose only goal inlife was to make everyone else suffer for his misfortunes."
"Unfortunately, some innocent people had to pay dearly for it." Goren replied as they walked out of the room and back to t heir desks.
